With a vision to be Tasmania’s best producer of premium alcoholic beverages, Winemaking Tasmania is a unique and highly specialised producer of many of Tasmania’s finest wine and cider brands in partnership with their client base of vineyard and orchard brand owners. Jonathan’s commitment has led to the continued expansion of the company and its commitment to environmental management has been recognised.
Jonathan brings to the AV board an extensive employment history in the Australian Wine industry, including roles in brand management, marketing, packaging, product development, strategy, planning and development. His experience extends along the value chain, and his current role includes vineyard visits with the Chief Winemaker liaising with growers and tasting fruit destined for premium wine making.
A vibrant and positive person, Jonathan is keen to give back to the wine sector and contribute toward its leadership and sustainability. He is adamant that those who grow and make wine across the country should have a voice and be able to influence the industry in which they make their livelihoods. When he is not busy working he can be found spending time with his family, gardening, bushwalking or camping.
